The government has announced the closure of a section of Ngong-Suswa road to allow for construction.
On Wednesday, May 14, the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA) warned residents of an impending traffic disruption because of the repairs.
Through a notice, the government agency said the road will be closed between Matonyok and the junction to the Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT) to facilitate major construction works.
KeRRA said that the section of the road from the Ngere Road Junction to the junction heading to KIHBT would be closed from Monday, May 12, to Tuesday, May 20.
