Motorists in have been urged to brace for a temporary disruption along the Nairobi Expressway after the government announced a partial closure to allow for maintenance works.
In a notice on Thursday, May 15, Nairobi motorists were notified that a section of the expressway from the overpass at James Gichuru Roundabout to Njuguna's Place on Waiyaki Way would be closed from Friday, May 16, to Monday, May 19. "Temporary Road Closure of Expressway section from the overpass at James Gichuru Roundabout to Njuguna's Place will be closed from May 16th at 6 am to May 19th at 8 pm," the notice read.
As a result of the closure, drivers who frequently used the overpass have been advised to seek alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience. The Nairobi Expressway which connects Mlolongo with James Gichuru Road.
Photo MOJA Expressway Motorists have also been advised to stay updated through Moja Expressway's official communication channels in case of any changes in the directive and additional guidance.
