The National Construction Authority (NCA), in partnership with key industry stakeholders, has launched a three-day sensitisation and civic education forum in Vihiga County.

The initiative aims to promote awareness and enhance compliance with the updated National Building Code.

The forum brought together a wide range of stakeholders from the construction sector, including architects, engineers, contractors, developers, county officials, and members of the public.

Key discussions during the forum focused on Understanding the revised National Building Code and its implications, enhancing compliance and enforcement mechanisms, promoting sustainable, safe, and affordable construction practices and strengthening collaboration between the national and county governments.
