A family in Githunguri is looking for their loved one who went missing on June 25 during the commemoration of the 2024 Gen Z demonstrations.
Peter Mani, 37, went missing from the Kwa Maiko town in Githunguri, Kiambu County shortly after completing some menial jobs he was doing for traders in the market.
His sister, Beatrice Ng'ang'a says that Mani is mentally disturbed, a condition that he has battled for over 10 years.
She told The Standard that he used to work for the Fresha Milk Company but was forced to stop working due to the condition. "He did not join the protests," she said.
