Former Tana River Governor Hussein Dhado called on the youth to be wary of a few self-seeking political individuals out to drive the country into anarchy.

Dhado condemned the June 25th and yesterday's demonstrations that led to loss of lives and property saying that the 'planned peaceful demonstrations' have been seized by the disgruntled politicians to cause mayhem and destruction in the country.

Addressing his supporters Tuesday in Madogo, Tana River County, Dhado singled out the Sabasaba commemoration that was agitating for multi-party democracy noting it had been hijacked by hired goons being used to loot and destroy property across the country.

Dhado who has declared his candidature for the Tana River gubernatorial seat in the 2027 general election said that president Ruto should be allowed to complete his term and those dissatisfied by his leadership should use the general elections to vote him out. "Countries that degenerated into anarchy started the same way.
