Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Ali Hassan Joho, has announced the appointment of Ibrahim Malow Noor as a member of the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute.
Noor, who will serve in the role for the next three years, is not new to Kenyans, having previously served as a Garissa County Officer and been involved in a Ksh233 million graft case in 2021.
In the same breath, Joho's counterpart in the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, Opiyo Wandayi, appointed Carren Akinyi Olweny and Abdisalan Adow Abdi as members of the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency.
The appointees will serve for the next three years, effective July 11.
