The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga, has taken a swipe at Rigathi Gachagua, claiming that the former Deputy President is not a better option for the presidency.

Speaking on Saturday afternoon at a funeral service in Bomet, Odinga noted that even if Gachagua became the president, he would not bring any meaningful change to the country.

He revealed that Gachagua's past performance as the country's second Deputy President showed no evidence of proper leadership, and argued that making him Ruto's replacement would not bring any improvements to the country. "Even if you make Rigathi Gachagua the next president, there is no big difference he will bring to this country.

We need to do things afresh," Raila commented.
