Investigations have been launched into the gruesome killing of a police officer, whose body was found dumped by the roadside in Rarieda, Siaya County.
According to an official report obtained by Kenyans.co.ke., the lifeless body of the police constable was discovered along the Ndori-Luanda Kotieno road, near Rarieda Secondary School.
What was more puzzling was the fact that the officer's body was discovered just two kilometres from the police station where he was reportedly posted.
The body's discovery was made by another officer in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
