Treasury Cabinet Secretary (CS) John Mbadi has assured Kenyans that the economy is in the right trajectory and dismissed allegations of a struggling economy.
Mbadi said since he took over office, he has been able to stabilize the economy and the government was now able to meet its financial obligations in time.
He said inflation had been brought down to acceptable levels while debt repayment was timely under his tenure.
The CS said he has been able to achieve a lot more than his predecessors who served for longer periods. "Claims that the economy is doing badly is false.
