Six individuals have been arrested in connection with the killing of a police constable along the busy Thika-Garissa Road, Kiambu County in June.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) announced a breakthrough in the case on Monday, July 21, revealing that the six suspects were tracked down thanks to forensic evidence.

In a statement, the DCI disclosed that the suspects were tracked down to a hideout in Kahawa West in Nairobi.

Besides the arrest of the suspects in a carefully-coordinated operation, the DCI also seized a vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects during the crime.
