Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina claims that the construction of the Narok International Airport has officially commenced, three months after President William Ruto launched the project.

In a statement on Monday, July 21, the senator said that the main contractors, engineers, had already landed on site to kickstart ground works, which include setting up machinery for tarmacking the runway, installing electricity sources, and erecting a fence.

According to the main contractor, the construction of the airport should be complete within the next year.

The senator affirmed that he will constantly undertake tours at the site to ensure that the construction of the facility is executed as planned. "Officially, the construction of the Narok International Airport is beginning today, and I will be here constantly to ensure that this project is completed, and we also thank the president for the support that he has given to make sure that he delivers on the promise, and also all the ministries involved," Ledama said.
