The Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) has ordered Chiromo Hospital - Braeside branch, the hospital where the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Toto Touch, Susan Njoki, died to cease all clinical operations immediately.
In a letter signed by KMPDC CEO David Kariuki on Friday, July 25, the hospital was given the directive even as reports emerged that a member of the facility's staff was said to be involved in the mysterious death of Njoki.
KMPDC also directed the hospital to evacuate its patients within 24 hours of receiving the letter.
This followed an inspection of the hospital by KMPDC on July 18.
