Human rights activist Hanifa Adan says she narrowly escaped an alleged abduction on Saturday night in Nairobi.
Taking to social media, on Sunday, July 27, Hanifa claimed that two unidentified men tried to force her into a car moments after she alighted from a bus.
One of the men, according to Hanifa, was seated beside her in the bus, and after alighting, the man kept on insisting on taking her home in his brother's car, which he claimed was nearby.
Despite resisting the suspicious offer and claiming that she would like to take an online taxi, the man kept on pushing, and after a few moments, he went and came back with his "brother" and the car.
