The National Assembly has approved a raft of changes to its committee memberships following the adoption of a motion moved by Majority Whip Silvanus Osoro during Tuesday's sitting.
The changes affect several key departmental and oversight committees, with both replacements and reshuffles among members.
Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has taken over from Leah Sankaire in the Diaspora Affairs and Migrant Workers Committee, while Edwin Mugo Gichuki has joined the Budget and Appropriations Committee, replacing Nyoro.
In the Departmental Committee on Blue Economy, Water and Irrigation, Muiruri Muthama Stanley has replaced Chepkwony Charity Kathambi. At the same time, Bensuda Joyce Atieno Osogo fills the position left vacant by the late Charles Ong'ondo Were.
