In a rare occurrence, President William Ruto and his predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta, met at the State House in Nairobi today.
The two leaders are attending a joint meeting of the East African Community (EAC) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) Co-Chairs with the Panel of Facilitators for the DRC Peace Process.
Uhuru will be joining Ruto and Zimbabwe's President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
President Mnangagwa is visiting the country for a regional summit aimed at promoting peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
