Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has appealed to Kenyans to be patient with the government over delayed developments, saying it is now time for the Kenya Kwanza administration to deliver all that was promised.
Speaking at his Karen home on Friday where he hosted a section of Maasai leaders from Kajiado County, Prof Kindiki said President William Ruto "knows he has an exam to sit in 2027".
He said he will be ready for it. "That is why I have focused on development and faster delivery of the projects we promised before the elections,'' said the Deputy President. ''It is unfair to put pressure on the President to deliver on the development agenda before the end of the term he has been elected to serve.
The President is serving a five-year term.
