President William Ruto has nominated Amani Yuda Komora as Chairperson of the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) and Angeline Yiamiton Siparo as a member.
The nominations follow recent interviews conducted by the Public Service Commission (PSC) between July 1 and July 3, after shortlisting eight candidates for chairperson and 11 for member.
Candidates were required to present original identification, academic documents, and valid clearances from state agencies, including the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) and any registered credit reference bureau.
Those with foreign degrees had to submit recognition letters from the Commission for University Education.
