There was panic on the evening of Wednesday, August 6, after a Super Metro bus caught fire in the middle of the road. Images and videos obtained by Kenyans.co.ke depicted a harrowing scene, as the bus was completely engulfed in flames from the inside. A considerable part of the inferno originated from the rear, suggesting that the fire had emanated from the back of the bus. No casualties were reported at the time of publication of this article, and the cause of the fire is yet to be established. This is the latest incident involving a Super Metro bus, which has been marred by various controversies at the popular SACCO in recent months.
