A security guard who stabbed a man 30 times two years ago after he allegedly found him with his wife at their matrimonial home has been found guilty of murder.
Justice Samwel Mohochi convicted Cyrus Rono for killing Moody Mukutsa on August 29, 2023, at Lanet, in Nakuru County.
The court convicted Rono, pointing out the seriousness of the injuries that led to the death of Mukutsa. "The magnitude and seriousness of the injuries inflicted establish the malice aforethought; how the body was found is indicative of the depth of violence he suffered at the hands of the assailants," Mohochi noted.
Mohochi heard that Mukutsa was having an affair with Rono's wife in the couple's matrimonial home when the incident occurred.
