Rigathi Gachagua will make a procession from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday, head to the CBD, and then make their way to the Kamukunji Grounds for a rally.  According to the Democratic for Citizens Party (DCP) deputy party leader Cleophas Malala, thousands of supporters are expected to join the procession as the party welcomes the former deputy president home from his trip to the United States.

In a press briefing on Monday, August 18, Malala claimed that thousands of supporters from across the country will flock to JKIA at 8am to receive the former DP.

After the DP lands, Malala claims that the supporters will go ahead and have "a mother of all peaceful processions" from JKIA to Nairobi CBD.
