Motorists traversing the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway were caught in a traffic snarl-up after an accident occurred between Mutitu Andei and Voi on Sunday night.
The accident occurred at the Kanga Bridge, as reported by the Long Distance Drivers and Conductors Association (LoDDCA).
In images seen by Kenyans.co.ke, two wrecked trucks were pictured at the scene with their fronts completely damaged, alluding to a head-on collision.
However, the actual cause of the accident has yet to be made public.
