Former Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has explained why he quit the party and whether he intends to run for political office in the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during an interview on NTV on Monday morning, Tuju said he left Jubilee for personal reasons, dismissing speculation that it was due to internal wrangles. "I have left Jubilee for personal reasons.

I did leave Jubilee so that I am free to make my personal opinions without bearing or being asked whose behalf I am speaking on," he stated.
