Two times 800m World Championship gold medalist Billy Komintai Konchellah has been appointed to be a Member of the Board of the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya following fresh appointments by Cabinet Secretaries in the various Ministries.
Konchellah was appointed by Sports CS Salim Mvurya for the next three years.
His appointment is effective Friday, August 29.
His appointment comes at a time when many Kenyan athletes have been banned over cases of doping.
