The Ministry of Education officials in Narok County have ordered the indefinite closure of Narok Adventist Primary and Junior Secondary School following a tragic incident in which a Grade Nine student was found murdered within the school compound.
The 14-year-old learner was discovered dead over the weekend at night under chilling circumstances.
His body was found in the students' dormitory with visible signs of struggle and visible injuries. According to witnesses, there was blood on the ground at the scene where the body was found, and some traces were also found in a washroom.
It is unclear what happened to the student, with police launching investigations into the matter.
