People's Liberation Party (PLP) leader Martha Karua has denied claims that she is politically realigning herself with President William Ruto.

Responding to allegations made by an ally of President Ruto, Karua denied following in Raila Odinga's footsteps to work with the Kenya Kwanza government.

The ally took to a post to allege that Karua, a senior counsel, was following the justice system and had decided to rally behind the president.

However, Karua strongly opposed, clarifying that she stood firm and supported former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's 'wantam' agenda.
