The Kenya Meteorological Department has urged residents in several regions to brace for more rain and chilly conditions this week.
Rainfall is expected to continue in parts of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin and the Rift Valley between Tuesday, September 9, and Saturday, September 13, according to the department's weekly forecast.
Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka and Nairobi counties will experience sunny intervals in the mornings throughout the week.
Showers may occur in a few places in the afternoons during the forecast period and on Tuesday night.
