The Turkana County Public Service Board (CPSB) and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) have trained a section of county staff to sensitise county government staff on national values and principles of good governance.
The three-day training in Kakuma led to the development of two documents-a procedure on Prevention of Bribery and Corruption and a guide for teaching National Values and Principles of good governance.
In her remarks, Dr.
Pauline Akiru Ekod, Acting Chairperson at CPSB, said the Board was committed to transparency and the highest form of governance. "This training will help us to serve the people and guide the civil servants better," she said.
