Estates within Embakasi East should prepare for above-average rainfall, according to the latest advisory from the Kenya Meteorological Department.

The weatherman issued a forecast on Monday afternoon, detailing several constituencies within the capital that will experience varying levels of rainfall.

If the alert is accurate, nearly all areas in the city will receive rainfall between Monday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 10, with some constituencies expected to endure heavier downpours than others.

Besides Embakasi East, which is set to receive between 80mm and 100mm of rainfall, moderate rainfall (estimated between 40mm and 60mm) has been forecast in areas including Dagoretti, Roysambu, Kamukunji, and Embakasi North.
