Interior and National Administration Principal Secretary (PS), Raymond Omollo, has urged the Kuria community to work closely with the County Administration chaired by Migori County Commissioner, to maintain peace, law and order for prosperity.
Omollo, who commissioned the Kebaroti Water Project at Kebaroti Comprehensive School in Kuria East Sub-county, called upon the Kuria community to unite like their local leaders to maintain peace in the region.
The commissioned Kebaroti Water Project, developed by the Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA), is already providing clean and safe drinking water to over 7,000 households.
Omollo emphasised that the government will continue to ensure peace is achieved in the borders of Kisii and Narok counties to spur economic development in the region. "We are working closely with leaders of the affected region, security agencies and communities from both counties to ensure we achieve a lasting peace for the economic growth of the two regions," affirmed Omollo.
