Every Kenyan should always be responsible for maintaining peace, stability and tranquillity in the country, Defense Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya has said.
Tuya regretted that some people were fully dedicated to 'paint our country black' before the international community. "We must love our country more than anybody else outside Kenya," Soipan said during a thanksgiving ceremony at African Inland Church Chebisaas Aldai Girls in Aldai Constituency.
The CS singled out an incident during the recent visit by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Kingdom of the Netherlands where some ill-intentioned group portrayed the country negatively before the Majesties came into the country. "Why would some Kenyans write to tell the world how unsafe our country is, how bad our country is.
What are we getting into?" Tuya asked.
