Mavindini FC beat Wote FC 1-0 to clinch a place to participate in the sub county finals scheduled on Saturday and Sunday in the MKJ Supa Cup tournament.
Mavindini FC got the crucial goal in the second half after they were awarded a penalty after one of their players was badly tackled during the game that was played at Police Sports ground in Wote town on Tuesday.
However, Mavindini FC which is from Makueni Sub County will face 5 other teams from the six sub counties in the county during the finals scheduled for Sunday at Unoa Sports Ground.
The sub counties that will send a team each include Mbooni, Kibwezi West, Kibwezi East, Kilome and Kaiti respectively.
