The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has arrested three suspects accused of breaking into hardware stores in Machakos and its environs.
In a statement on Friday, March 28, detectives said the three had been terrorising hardware owners in the Machakos and Joska areas. "In a well-coordinated operation, detectives have apprehended three notorious burglary masterminds.
The trio has been terrorising Machakos and Joska neighbourhoods, orchestrating a series of audacious hardware break-ins," DCI stated.
After investigations, detectives found out that the three had recently been released from Machakos GK Prison.
