Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has announced the inauguration of the Machakos Level 5 Hospital Board led by Bishop Charles Kababu that will ensure efficient running of the largest medical facility in the county.
Governor Wavinya noted that the Board, now fully constituted with a CEO and other key members, is expected to streamline healthcare services amid increasing demand for quality medical care while planning strategies that will align with their vision to ensure better services for Machakos people. "The board will take charge of strategic planning, budgeting, and developing work plans aligned with our vision for quality healthcare," said the Governor.
Speaking at her office after the inauguration, the Governor noted the increase of patients streaming in from the counties of Makueni, Kajiado and Kitui to seek medical services from Machakos level 5 hospital. "Machakos level 5 hospital now has a fully constituted board of management complete with a CEO.
I charge them to settle as soon as possible and tackle the prevailing challenges to ensure delivery of quality healthcare services to our people," added the Governor.
