The government is on track in its efforts to deliver projects and programs to the citizens, deputy chief of staff in charge of performance management, Eliud Owalo, has said.
According to Owalo, a recent mid-term review undertaken to determine the implementation status of the development programs by the Kenya Kwanza government revealed that several milestones have been achieved.
He was speaking in Asembo, Rarieda Sub County, Siaya, after attending the burial of the late Willis Arika. "Based on the past performance, we have also prioritized what needed to be done over the next two years, with a view to fully implementing the Kenya Kwanza plan, which was the basis of our campaigns and now forms the overall policy agenda of the government," he said.
In Nyanza and the entire lake region, Owalo said the government was committed to the revival of several sectors of the economy now that there is what he termed an enabling environment.
