Students of Butere Girls and Ibokolo Secondary School are set to benefit from improved transportation as the institutions receive their new school buses.

The initiative, spearheaded by area Member of Parliament (MP) Tindi Mwale through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF), aims to enhance safe and reliable transport for students while improving their overall learning experience.

Speaking ahead of the official handover ceremony, Mwale emphasized the importance of investing in education infrastructure to support students' academic journeys. "Since 2017, we have delivered 10 school buses to different institutions through NG-CDF, and we remain committed to implementing more transformative projects for our schools," he stated.

In addition to the buses, Butere Boys High School has also benefited from a newly constructed 180-student capacity dormitory, named 'State House.' The project was swiftly undertaken after one of the school's dormitories was destroyed in a fire tragedy. "Butere NG-CDF is dedicated to ensuring that our institutions have improved infrastructure to foster better education and learning standards," Mwale added.
