Butere Member of Parliament (MP) Tindi Mwale convened a crucial meeting with chiefs and their assistants to deliberate on security and peaceful coexistence within the constituency.
Speaking during the gathering, which took place in Butere Constituency, Mwale emphasized the significance of harmony among residents, stating that peaceful coexistence forms the foundation of strong leadership and paves the way for a prosperous community. "Today, I have hosted chiefs and assistant chiefs drawn from across Butere Constituency, alongside a section of MCAs from Kakamega County, to check on our progress to reduce insecurity in the area," Mwale said.
In addition to discussing security and social cohesion, the leaders also took the opportunity to congratulate Mwale on his recent appointment as the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Accounts Committee (PAC).
The leaders said his new role underscores growing influence in National leadership.
