West Mugirango constituency Member of Parliament (MP) Stephen Mogaka has disbursed funds to students in secondary schools and tertiary institutions worth Sh44,900,000.
The MP stated that he highly cherishes education, therefore he allocates the lion's share of his Constituency Development Funds (CDF) to education because it is a global equalizer to any student from his constituency who wants to make a difference in his or her life and the community as well. "Students are spoilt for choice on what they can become as they advance in their education journey so long, they remain focused, work hard and ensure they utilize the assistance they have received in form of bursary as required. "Work hard to ensure you excel in your exams to secure coveted career courses during university placement.
Those who have benefitted from this bursary have no excuse for being absent from school, consult teachers who are ready to assist all the time and ensure to maintain a high level of discipline." advised the MP.
MP Mogaka challenged parents whose children had benefited from the bursary to ensure they provide all other personal necessitates for smooth learning of their children.
