Nakuru County Government has issued a strong call to action, demanding an end to harmful practices, discrimination, and marginalization faced by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

In a renewed commitment today, the county administration pledged to fully integrate disability issues into all its programmes.

Speaking during a press conference in her office, County Chief Officer for Gender, Social Services and Inclusivity Ms.

Gladys Kamuren, highlighted the county's ongoing efforts to combat stigmatization. "The County administration, under the leadership of Governor Susan Kihika, is actively addressing the challenges faced by PWDs through the development of progressive policies, innovative programmes, and robust collaboration with key stakeholders," she stated.
