Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa has pledged to complete all development projects initiated by former Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, assuring residents of his commitment to continuity and service delivery.
Speaking in Butere Sub-County yesterday, Governor Barasa announced that one of the key flagship projects, the Level Four hospital, will be opened this month.
The governor said the modern health facility, into which the County has pumped Sh300 million with support from the National government, will be operationalized this month. "We are finalizing the remaining works, and by the end of this month, the hospital will be operational," Barasa said. "This facility will improve healthcare access and ensure residents receive quality services close to home," he added.
He noted that the hospital will be equipped with essential medical equipment and staffed with qualified personnel to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
