The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday, April 4, announced the arrest of the main suspect behind the gruesome murder of a Bomet businesswoman.
Through a statement, the DCI revealed they had arrested the man behind the murder, who was a disgruntled former lover of the woman. "Bomet Central detectives have arrested the prime suspect behind the vicious murder of a Bomet businesswoman, whose lifeless body was discovered on March 25, 2025," the DCI stated.
The woman was found in her home by her daughter, lying in a pool of blood, with deep neck wounds and multiple stab injuries to her arm, chest, and back.
This discovery came after the daughter's efforts to reach her mother had proved futile.
