Western Regional Commissioner (RC) Irungu Macharia has called on the residents to cooperate with the National Government Administration Officers and the security agencies for the realization of peace and security in the region.
Mr.
Macharia, who spoke while commissioning the Deputy County Commissioner Michael Too (DCC) for the newly-created Tiriki East sub county, disclosed that they have profiled areas in terms of the state of security and crime rate in order to take appropriate action.
He listed Luanda town in Luanda sub county, Matayos in Busia County and Matungu sub county in Kakamega County as areas bedevilled by mugging, thuggery and criminal activities.
