In a move to enhance agricultural diversification and bolster farmers' incomes, Nakuru County has successfully distributed thousands of avocado seedlings in Subukia and Waseges wards.
A total of 11,429 avocado seedlings were distributed to farmers in Subukia Ward, while 4,286 seedlings were allocated to those in Waseges Ward.
The distribution exercise was led by Agriculture Chief Officer Newton Mwaura, alongside Subukia Ward MCA Hon.
