Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen now says former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi risks being arrested for allegedly breaching government confidentiality.
Speaking during an interview with members of the press in Mombasa County on Tuesday, April 8, Murkomen accused Muturi of exposing the government by allegedly withholding crucial state documents.
While hitting out at his former colleague, Murkomen called on the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to probe Muturi's actions and take the necessary action. "He says he has kept government documents and that he has kept them in an email.
In another country, he could have been arrested because the principle of how to handle documents is not that way," Murkomen stated.
