Development work under the government-funded projects at Nairobi School in Westlands Constituency, Nairobi County, is progressing well, a project whose completion is expected to increase student enrolment.
The projects that are under construction at the school include a science complex with six laboratories, 12 classrooms and six dormitories.
Speaking during an inspection tour of the ongoing projects, Westlands Deputy County Commissioner Moses Gicharu said the six laboratories being constructed on a three-storey building by Everstep Enterprises Ltd.
will have two complete science laboratories on the ground and first floor, while the second floor will have two ICT laboratories. "The four science laboratories on the ground and first floors will be for science practicals while that of ICT will be installed with computers.
